COVID-19 Safety Plan

RESTRICTIONS TO ENTRANCE:

  • There will be no entry to anyone who is sick with cold or flu like symptoms including, but not limited to, fever, chills, cough, sneezing, sore throat and or difficulty breathing.
  • No entry to anyone who is living with any person who is currently sick, self isolating or quarantined or have come in contact with anyone who has COVID-19.
  • No entry to anyone who has returned to the Province or Country in the past 14 days from any part of the world.

LIMITED CAPACITY: Our employees will be limiting the number of guests to a maximum of 50 to ensure social distancing.  We apologize in advance if there’s any wait times or delays. Please call before you head over to see if we are at our max capacity.

TEMPERATURE CHECKS AND HEALTH SYMPTOMS: Our employees will be checking all customers’ temperature with a touch less thermometer prior to admission into our facility. All families will be asked a health questionnaire.  If you are experiencing or displaying any cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms, we will ask you to kindly visit us another day.

HAND WASHING / HAND SANITIZING:  All guests, kids and adults, will sanitize their hands prior to entering the facility.  Sanitizer will be available in the facility for guest use.

MASKS:         It is recommended that all adults visiting our facility wear mask.

STAFF:          

  • All staff will complete health declaration prior to start of shift. 
  • All staff will be subject to temperature check prior to start of shift.  Any staff displaying irregular temperature and or abnormal symptoms will be sent home. 
  • All staff will be wearing mask during the shift.

    SOCIAL DISTANICING:  

    • We will promote and enforce social distancing rules of 2 meters for all guests and staff with signage and floor markings throughout our facility.
    •  Clear signage will be posted throughout the facility to stress the necessity of regular hand washing and or sanitizing hands.
    • All tables and chairs in the café area will be separated by 2 metres with limited seating capacity.
    • Touch less payment method by credit /debit are available   

    SANITIZATION:

    • Regular sanitization of high touch play equipment, such as exercise equipment, wall play equipment, climbing wall and monkey bar ring extra will take place.
    • There are couple of areas in our facility such as the toddler area and blocks area where we will split the toys in half.  We will have half of the toys for kids to play with, while the other half will be sanitized in the back.  Every hour the toys will be swapped, the clean ones will be brought out while the staff will clean the other half in the back
    • Only 1 player at a time will be permitted in the laser maze.
    • All high traffic area such as the door knobs, counter tops, washrooms will be sanitized regularly through out the day.
    • The facility will be cleaned thoroughly at the end of the day. 

    GENERAL RULES:

    • No outside food or drink is permitted except for water bottles
    • Socks are required by both kids and adults to enter the facility.

    Funplex Management

    Changes to Regular Business Hours

    For the month of July Funplex hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10 am to 3 pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday.

     

    Funplex is an indoor playground for kids that focuses on physical, imaginative and interactive play that fosters social, emotional, and motor skills. Our facility is clean, safe, comfortable and most importantly fun for kids.

    The layout of activities are designed in a way that parents can either play with their children or watch them from centrally located café/sitting area. The facility includes:

    • Designated Toddler Areas (for ages newborns to 4 years old);
    • 3 storey jungle gym
    • Sports court
    • Miniature Gym
    • Interactive Floor
    • Laser Maze;
    • Climbing Wall ;
    • Birthday Party Area.

    Few things to remember when visiting us:

    * Socks must be worn by adults, children and babies. No shoes, slippers or bare feet. Socks can be purchased at the front counter.

    * No outside food or drinks allowed. Kids and adults may bring water bottles.

    * No strollers are allowed inside. They must be parked in the entrance.
